About The Performers 

ROSE RED ELK | Weave Your Dreams - Lakota Dream Catcher Demonstration | Rose Red Elk aka Red Feather Woman is an award-winning recording artist. As a Native American oral storyteller/singer-songwriter and author, Rose is an enrolled member of the Ft. Peck Tribes- Assiniboine/Sioux, in eastern Montana.  One of her passions as an artist is creating fine art dream catchers. She uses semi-precious stones and metals to weave beautiful dream catchers. She also places her energy, contemporary design and Lakota spiritual intentions within the web.

RICHARD ABEITA JR. | Carving and Sculpture | Richard Abeita Jr. is known for his detailed sculpting. He is a proud member of Isleta Pueblo, in New Mexico. He creates various expressions on his fetish sculptures, signing his works with the symbol for his traditional name, Sunrise Down a Good Road.

ED SMITHSmith Jewelry Making in Silver, Precious Metals and Stones | Ed Smith is a master gold and and self-taught silversmith. He has worked on his art for over 42 years and is passing his silver smiting knowledge on to his children. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he will be demonstrating various techniques and making jewelry on site.

CRYSTAL WORL | Exploring Relationships and bonds between her people, the land, and animals | Crystal will be storytelling through her painting and mixed media techniques expressing the recreation and modernization of her Clan’s stories and Raven stories from home.

SUE SHOTRIDGE | Jewelry from the Northwest | For over 25 years now, Shotridge Studios has been the leader in marketing Northwest Coast Authentic Alaskan Native arts and gift products, marketing to the “Gift Markets”. The fantastic original whimsical designs created by Master Tlingit Artist Israel Shotridge along with the savvy sales & marketing skills of business partner and wife Sue Shotridge brings a dynamic and successful team. Sue will demonstrate how she creates her abalone jewelry.

PETER RAY JAMES | Storyteller through Artistic Endeavors | Peter Ray is an acclaimed painter and spiritual fabric artist who will be painting and creating, as well as answering questions about his traditions. He is known among the Navajo people as Nahat’a Yilth Yil Wood, one who delivers the message.
