Flute Artist Michael Folkert To Perform at Native American Pavilion

Now in its 3rd year, the Native American Pavilion returns to the Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show with even more one-of-a-kind designs and other authentic American Indian artisan crafts to help set your store apart. Adding to the excitement, the Pavilion will also feature a number of cultural events and demonstrations, including daily performances by Native American Flute Artist Michael Folkert.

Michael performs at times with other artists like Jim McGrath, Billy Johnson, Brent Lewis and Aloke Dasgupta at various venues. He has also been heard on recordings and shows from the likes of Mick Jagger, Ozzy, Gwen Stefani, Cheap Trick, Burt Bacharach, Charro, Santana and more. Some of his recent recordings include Native North and South American flutes mixed with guitars, cello, charango, and a vast array of percussion .

Based in Venice, CA, Michael is also the owner and creator of Condor Records, distributors of world music such as Native flutes, Inca artist, and percussion groups of tribal drumming. 

In addition to his daily performances, Michael will also have a table in the Native American Pavilion where he’ll have CDs for sale.
